THREE PHRASES TO GET YOU OFF DEAD CENTRE…

·        IT’S NOT TOO LATE!

·        IT’S MY TURN!

 ·        STOP!

When you become an owner and not a loaner of your life, when you grab possession of the processes, you become a self starter.  You get up.  You get out.  You get on with it.

Nobody needs to kick your butt.  Nobody needs to put you in gear.  Nobody needs to jump start your engine. Your hand is on the ignition switch. Your wrist is twisting the key. You are engaged, energized and on the move.

When you have everything to gain and nothing to lose by saying yes, by all means, say yes.

Self starters know the power of the ten, two letter word rant.  “If it is to be, it is up to me!”

Self starters are energized with the reality that tomorrow started yesterday.

Self starters aren’t fixated on the rear view mirror - scheming and dreaming of a way to go back and have a new beginning.  They are Carpe Diem people, seize the day kind of folk, who know how to start today and have a new ending.

A smile of commitment crashes across the face of self starters as they remind themselves that a year from now they will be glad that they started today.

The true value of education is in knowing what needs to be done, knowing when it needs to be done, knowing how to get it done and then doing it.

So here are three phrases to get you off dead center, to get you started and to get you stopped.

It’s not too late!

It’s my turn!

STOP!

“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord.” Psalms 37:23

The stops of a good man are ordered by the Lord.

The steps of a good man are ordered by the good man.

The stops of a good man are ordered by the good man.

Self starters are in sync in a blink.

If I were to wish for anything, I should not wish for wealth and power, but for the passionate sense of potential, for the eye which sees the potential. Pleasure disappoints; possibility never.
